Amy Snyder M.P.T., D.P.T. (3rd Ward/Milwaukee, Waukesha, Greenfield/Milwaukee)
Amy Snyder, MPT, DPT received her Bachelors and Masters Degrees from the University of Florida. Following graduation, Amy spent one year training with the National Centers for Facial Paralysis in Washington D.C., making her a specialist in the field of craniofacial pain and dysfunction. Following that time, Amy returned to her home town of Milwaukee to work in private practice with her parents and husband. Since then they have expanded their business to four PT Plus locations- Racine, Elmbrook, Milwaukee's Historic Third Ward, and Greenfield/Milwaukee. During this time she also received her Doctorate from Creighton University.
Amy has focused her continuing education on enhancing her manual therapy skills. She has attended numerous seminars. Her varied education includes Myofascial Release, Muscle Energy Technique, Strain-Counter Strain, Cranial-Sacral therapy, and Primal Reflex Release Technique. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Wisconsin Physical Therapy Association.
In her spare time she enjoys practicing Yoga and Pilates and incorporates these exercise philosophies into her daily treatments to enhance her patient's overall health.
"I believe in treating the whole person. When a person comes into my clinic they are not just a "knee" or a "shoulder". I use a holistic approach to quickly return a patient to their previous level of function, as well as to prevent additional injuries".
