Alissa Pearson, PT, DPT graduated from UW-La Crosse with a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Sports Science and completed her Doctorate of Physical therapy from UW-Milwaukee. Additionally, she has completed a medical mission trip in Nicaragua and Costa Rica. Her passion for physical therapy began as a high school athlete when she was impressed by the different approach to pain and injury. She enjoys working with a variety of patient populations and anyone who desires to continue to be active across their lifespan. Her continuing education includes manual skills such as IASTM and taping. Alissa plans to continue to add to her skill set by completing training in dry needling and pelvic floor.
Outside of treating individuals, Alissa enjoys being active. You will often find her hiking, paddle boarding, playing soccer, and playing with her dog. She loves experiencing different cultures through food and enjoys trying new restaurants. She also developed a passion for competing in bodybuilding in 2019 which is continuing to pursue outside of work.
