Shana Blackman graduated from UW-LaCrosse with her bachelor’s degree in biology and pre-physical therapy. She practiced for 10 years and started her family. In 2011 she returned to UW-Milwaukee to complete her Doctorate in physical therapy.
Being a collegiate athlete that went through a surgical recovery, Shana can empathize with the recovery process and enjoys getting patients back to the goals they set for themselves. She specializes in manual therapies, recreational and competitive athletic injuries and recovery including: jumping and throwing, and overhead sport athletes. She also has expertise with dry needling and custom foot orthotics. She utilizes a holistic approach to patients and their recovery.
Outside the clinic, Shana enjoys spending time with her teenage boys and watching them play sports and do things they love. She also enjoys playing beach volleyball and indoor volleyball as well as other outdoor activities.
