For me [what I love about being a PT] is that 'aha' moment, where the light bulb has turned on and you know you have taught the patient a concept that will help them not only in the current moment in time, but which will serve them well for years to come.

ABOUT

Like many therapists, Katie experienced an injury that led her to the world of healthcare. Physical therapy showed her it's ability to help people and fit well with her sports background. Throughout her clinical experiences, she has had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of patients in multiple settings across the country. She has traveled to all 50 states, practicing in 9 of them! Katie has even completed medical mission trips in Uganda and Honduras. Her years as a travel therapist helped her to build an extensive toolbox of treatment techniques. Katie enjoys working with post-surgical patients, high-level athletes, and anyone who desires to continue to be active across their lifespan. Her continuing education has focused on manual techniques, to better treat her patients using a comprehensive full body approach.   

Outside of work, Katie enjoys being active outdoors, reading a good book, and traveling. You’ll often find her planning her next trip, seeking a new place to experience the food, culture, and geography.
