​As September arrives and the back-to-school season begins, it's a time filled with excitement, new opportunities, and, of course, a bit of adjustment for students and families alike. At PT Plus, we understand the importance of preparing for the school year ahead, not just with new supplies and schedules, but also with a focus on health and wellness.

August is National Wellness Month, a time dedicated to prioritizing and promoting overall well-being. At PT Plus, we’re excited to join the celebration and emphasize how our commitment to wellness aligns with this important observance. National Wellness Month offers a perfect opportunity to reflect on the holistic approach we bring to physical therapy and the ways we support our community's health goals.

6/1/2024: A large number of those patients had been diagnosed with some degree of arthritis in their joints that probably played a role, large or small, in their painful symptoms. What I found surprising, and still do, is that people continue to see this diagnosis as just part of the aging process and that there is nothing that they can do about it. Well it is true, arthritis is part of the aging process and we can’t stop it, but to think that there is nothing you can do to address it is far from the truth.
